One of the top girls basketball teams in northeast Arkansas is in Lawrence County. The Hoxie Lady Mustangs have opened up the season with a 6-2 record, including a 4-0 start in 3-3A Conference play, and ranked fifth in the state in Class 3A in the inaugural Arkansas Sports Media polls released a week ago. Head coach Mike Chipman paid a visit to “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Monday afternoon with the latest on his ball club and their hot start to the year.
