A former Arkansas State football assistant has just picked up his first head coaching job, and it’s his alma mater. Kyle Shipp, who was on the Red Wolves’ staff from 2009-10, was named the new head coach at Arkansas Tech this week, just under three months after leaving UA-Monticello to become the Wonder Boys’ new offensive coordinator. He joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Friday to talk about his new job, and his days in Jonesboro.
