The high school sports scene in the state of Arkansas suffered a huge loss early Thursday morning with the passing of Forrest City High School head boys’ basketball coach Dwight Lofton at age 60. He led the Mustangs to two Class 5A State Championships (2014 and 2016) and a runner-up finish to Jonesboro in 2007. “The Drive with Brad Bobo” opened the First National Bank High School Coaches’ Corner on Thursday afternoon to visit with Blytheville head boys’ hoops coach McKenzie Pierce for his thoughts about his colleague and friend.
