“The Drive with Brad Bobo” started the day Thursday with an in-studio guest of great renown. Paragould’s Braxton Burnside started her college softball career at the University of Missouri. But after one season, she left Columbia, transferring to the University of Arkansas for her final three years. In 2021, she wrote her name in the record books, setting the single-season Razorback home run record with 25 on the year, earning first-team All-American honors, and helping Arkansas to a 43-11 record, a share of its first-ever SEC regular season championship with a 19-5 league mark, and a trip to the Super Regional round of the NCAA Tournament. We get Braxton’s thoughts on her Hogs career and the program, the Women’s College World Series, and more.
