There’s a change for the athletic department at Crowley’s Ridge College–but things are staying mostly the same. The Pioneers and Lady Pioneers have been competing in a conference called the Association of Independent Institutions (sort of an oxymoron, right?). But as of Monday, that organization has renamed itself the Continental Athletic Conference. “The Drive with Brad Bobo” brought in CRC head men’s basketball coach, and assistant Athletic Director Chris Perkins on Monday for what this means for the Pioneers, as they remain a part of the largest league (by participants–19) in the NAIA.
