A pair of northeast Arkansas sides will be top seeds in the Class 4A State Soccer Tournament which begins Thursday morning in Independence County, hosted by Southside High School. Head coach Kim Paslay’s Brookland Lady Bearcats (14-6-1) face eStem (6-6) at 5 pm Thursday in their opening round contest. On the boys side, the CRA Falcons (9-2), coached by Tracy Smith, meet Little Rock Episcopal Collegiate at 3 pm Thursday in the opening round. Both matches will take place at the East Main Sports Complex in Batesville. (Other matches will be played at Southside High School and Lyon College.)
