Of course, part of the discussion dealt around Giancarlo Stanton, and whether or not the Marlins’ slugger would be coming to St. Louis. (And literally mere MINUTES after this interview, the club released a statement saying Stanton would NOT be waiving his no-trade clause to come to the Cardinals.)
