Postseason baseball continues across the state this week, and one of the schools in northeast Arkansas that’s still alive is Buffalo Island Central. The Mustangs tied for the 3AA Conference title with Rector, entering the District semifinals as the #2 seed after losing both regular season meetings with the Cougars. After a win over EPC Friday, they beat Rector 5-3 in the final on Saturday. BIC head coach Chad Broadway joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” in the First National Bank High School Coaches’ Corner Monday to recap district play, and preview their Regional opener against Hazen on Thursday in Carlisle.
