The men’s basketball team at Crowley’s Ridge College in Paragould is riding a great late-season run to advance to the schools’ first-ever national tournament appearance! The Pioneers wrapped up their 2019-2020 regular season at 12-and-18 (5-6 in Association of Independent Institutions.) CRC upset #2 seed Voorhees College by 11 points last Friday in the A.I.I Tournament quarterfinals. They lost to third-seed Lincoln College in the semifinal, but defeated #8 seed Lincoln Christian University in the 3rd place contest Sunday. That’s put coach Chris Perkins’ squad into the NAIA Division II National Championship Tournament in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Monday afternoon to talk about his team’s postseason run.
