The Brookland Bearcats were in the preseason high school football spotlight Wednesday afternoon on “The Drive with Brad Bobo”. Head coach Chuck Speer joined the show to preview his ball club heading into 2019. Brookland finished 2-8 a season ago; 2-5 in 3-4A conference play (good for 6th place.) The Bearcats open the new campaign in Week Zero, hosting the Riverview Raiders from Searcy on Friday, August 30.
