Professional golf has not been immune from disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On Monday, the The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews announced that The Open Championship at Royal St. George’s in England was cancelled for 2020, then officials with The Masters moved their event to November. But what about the Mid-South’s big event, the WGC/FedEx St. Jude Invitational? Tournament Director Darrell Smith joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” with his thoughts on the recent rescheduling/cancellations as far as the majors, and the status of the WGC/FESJI (still set for July 1-5 at TPC Southwind in Memphis.)
