A new era for professional golf in Memphis debuts two months from now. In April 2018, officials at the FedEx St. Jude Classic announced that the long-time PGA Tour event was being replaced by a World Golf Championships tournament, the FedEx St. Jude Invitational. Tournament Executive Director Darrell Smith joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Tuesday afternoon to discuss the transition from the PGA to the WGC, including some new features for spectators, and the first two official committments to the WCG-FESJI July 24-28 at TPC Southwind.
