It’s been a week that Destinee Rogers won’t soon forget. The associate head coach of the Arkansas State women’s basketball program was elevated to interim head coach Tuesday morning following the abrupt resignation of head coach Matt Daniel late Monday night. Tuesday night, she picked up win number one in charge, with a victory over Mississippi Valley State. Now with a little time for a break, Coach Rogers joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” for her look back at the events that have transpired since Monday night, and her milestone victory, the first by an African-American female coach in Arkansas State athletics history.
