Paragould native and University of Alabama-Huntsville head volleyball coach Dr. Cade Smith has had quite the calendar year 2020. First overcoming the Coronavirus, later becoming interim Athletic Director, and then getting the AD’s role full time. Then came having to make some big changes in the Chargers’ athletic department to save money due to the pandemic, including dropping three varsity sports (men’s and women’s tennis, and men’s hockey), though hockey may be making a comeback . He went the reasons for the changes, and what’s happening now during his Tuesday afternoon visit to “The Drive with Brad Bobo”.
