Monday evening, ESPN will air for the first time a documentary titled “Eddie”, based on the life of the former college basketball coaching legend and soon to be Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, who passed away on May 23. One of the people who knew him well was former Arkansas State athletic director Dr. Dean Lee, who since 2015 has served as executive director of alumni and constituent relations at UAMS. We visited with him on “The Drive with Brad Bobo” just a couple hours before the telecast for his memories of working with Coach Sutton over the years, beginning with the first time they met.
