Another school year, and there’s more championships for the Arkansas State track and field program! Saturday in Mobile, Alabama, the Red Wolves made it back-to-back Sun Belt Women’s Cross Country titles, edging Appalachian State by 3 points thanks to 2nd, 4th, and 7th place individual finishes. On the men’s side, A-State finished third behind host South Alabama and App State, but Red Wolf Bennett Pascoe brought home the individual championship (the first-ever for the Arkansas State program). Head coach Dr. Jim Patchell joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Monday evening to recap his 13th SBC title (Indoor/Outdoor/Cross Country combined) in his 10th season with the program.
