Riverside High School alum Gavin Stone, who just wrapped up a COVID-19 shortened junior season at UCA (which included a no-hitter against Southeastern Louisiana March 6), was chosen by the Los Angeles Dodgers Thursday in the 5th Round with the 159th selection–the next to last pick–of the Major League Baseball Draft. On Friday’s edition of “The Drive with Brad Bobo”, we talked with Gavin about when he knew he was going to the Majors, how he got his name and skills out to the scouts, and what happens next.
