Following the first two episodes of ESPN’s documentary series “The Last Dance” on Sunday night, “The Drive with Brad Bobo” talked with a man who faced off against Michael Jordan…on the diamond! Jacksonville native, and former Nettleton High School baseball coach Hugh Walker played for seven years in the minors. In 1994, while with the Memphis Chicks (AA Affiliate of the Kansas City Royals), he had the opportunity to play against Jordan and his Birmingham Barons (the Chicago White Sox affiliate in the Southern League, along with the Chicks). He joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Monday afternoon with his recollections of MJ in the minors, including Jordan visiting with Hugh’s mom before a game.
