A member of the Arkansas State women’s basketball team took part in some international competition in March. Redshirt junior Jada Stinson competed for Puerto Rico in the five-nation Centrobasket event in El Salvador, and helped the island Commonwealth to an undefeated tournament championship, earning a spot in the AmeriCup competition this June. On Friday’s edition of “The Drive with Brad Bobo” from Tomlinson Stadium/Kell Field, Jada stopped by to recap her time with the squad (including how someone from Kentucky can play for Puerto Rico), as well as how different the styles of play are between the Sun Belt and international basketball.
