“The Drive with Brad Bobo” made its debut for the decade of the 2020s by looking back at the last day of 2019, and the 73rd NEA Invitational Basketball Tournament finals. The Nettleton Lady Raiders, number two seed in Girls’ Division III, took down the top seed and reigning Class 4A State Champion Batesville Lady Pioneers for the NEA title on Tuesday. Head Coach Jason Smith had the honor of being the first guest of The Drive for the new year, and he recapped the championship effort for the Lady Raiders. (History note: this was Smith’s ninth NEA title, which is the most ever for a girls’ head coach in tournament history.)
