The Walnut Ridge Bobcats (5-2/2-2, tied for 3rd in the 3AAA Conference) pulled off one of the biggest comebacks of the 2019 high school football season Friday night, and stayed in contention for the postseason in the process. Corning’s Bobcats–coached by former Walnut Ridge head coach Larry Treadway–led 28-nothing midway through the 3rd quarter, but Walnut Ridge came back to win 34-28 with a score on the final play of the game. First-year head coach Jeff Blake was in the First National Bank Coaches Corner on “The Drive with Brad Bobo” on Monday to recap the wild night in Corning.
