A first-ever meeting will take place Friday night at First National Bank Arena, with the Arkansas State women’s basketball team hosting the Williams Baptist University Lady Eagles. There’s a common denominator between the two schools: Jerry Ann Winters, the second-winningest coach in the history of both the Lady Indians and (as they were known then) Southern Baptist College. Just 90 minutes before tipoff, Coach Winters made her debut appearance on “The Drive with Brad Bobo” to reminisce about her days in both Walnut Ridge and Jonesboro.
