One of Arkansas State’s all-time football greats will be in Seattle on Saturday when the Red Wolves face the Washington Huskies. The pride of Trumann, Joe Hollimon, played for the Indians from 1971 to 74, was a 1975 draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings, but headed to the CFL. He was a standout defensive back for the Edmonton Eskimos (now the Elks) from 1976-85, and was part of the juggernaut that won 5 consecutive Grey Cups from 1978-82 (the only North American pro football team to win its league five years in a row.) “The Drive with Brad Bobo” welcomed Joe to the show on Thursday for a conversation about growing up in Trumann, his time at A-State, and what led him to Washington state, where he lives today.
