A former Arkansas State basketball player is now in the business of teaching the game. Jon Beck, a native of Scott City, Missouri, played four seasons under Dickey Nutt from 1999-2003, then served as a graduate assistant in Jonesboro. Now, he’s a part of an organization called Pure Sweat Basketball as a Skills Coach based working in northwest Arkansas. He recalls his days with Arkansas State, and discusses what he does in his current job, when he visited “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Thursday afternoon.
