The top spot in the 3AAA Conference baseball race was at stake Tuesday in Brookland, when the host Bearcats met Valley View in a doubleheader. The twin-bill ended in a split, which meant a three-way tie with Pocahontas for the league championship. But the Blazers got the tiebreaker advantage, and with it, the top seed in the 4A-East Regional next week in Brookland. Valley View head coach Josh Allison recapped the big day when he joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” in the First National Bank High School Coaches’ Corner on Wednesday.
