For the first time this school year, the Arkansas State men’s golf team finally got to play, as they hosted their annual Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate at RidgePointe Country Club. For the fifth straight season, the Red Wolves won the title. A-State shot an incredible 50-UNDER-PAR 814 (the lowest tournament score in school history), thanks to the three lowest single rounds ever. Julien Sale, co-medalist last year, won the individual title Tuesday, firing a 54-hole total of 16-under-par 200. The senior from Saint-Louis, Reunion Island (a French department in the Indian Ocean off the coast of east Africa) joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Tuesday afternoon following the emphatic victory.
