The juggernaut that is Valley View Lady Blazers volleyball is getting ready for the 2020 season, looking for their 18th straight state championship match appearance. Head coach Margie McGee, winner of five straight Class 5A titles and 14 championships in the last 17 years (stretching from Classes 3A to 5A), joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Monday afternoon. The 2019 AVCA National High School Co-Coach of the Year discussed the first day of classes at Valley View, the “new normal” practice set up in the COVID-19 landscape, and a huge new look for the Lady Blazers: no one named McGee on the playing roster.
