The Nettleton Raiders opened their boys’ basketball season last week in the Barry Pruitt Hurricane Classic, going 1-2 in their three games at Don Riggs Hurricane Gym. Mark McCord’s club will return to Jonesboro High School on Saturday night when they face the Trojans of Millington (Tennessee) Central High School as a part of the Natural State Hoop Fest. Coach McCord was a guest on “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Thursday afternoon to talk about his team, who this week was named the top seed in Division III of this year’s NEA Invitational Tournament.
