He’s now a school record holder and a first-team All-American! Arkansas State senior pole vaulter Michael Carr placed fifth in the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships Wednesday in Austin, Texas. In the process, Carr’s vault of 18 feet, 8 1/4 inches broke by one inch Earl Bell’s A-State record which had stood since 1976! Michael joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Thursday to recap his efforts, and what’s ahead, including next month’s USA Track & Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa.
