The honor of being the first on-air guest of 2019 on “The Drive with Brad Bobo” goes to Rector High School girls basketball coach Mitchell Weber. His Lady Cougars won the Girls Division I championship of the 72nd NEA Invitational Tournament, getting close wins over Marked Tree in overtime in the quarterfinals, and Manila in the semifinals, then defeating Palestine-Wheatley 42-20 in the final on December 29.
