The Drive Interview with Murray Watts–June 19 2020

Posted by willoswalt on June 19, 2020 in The Drive on KNEA

It’s baseball time on “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Friday afternoon, thanks to a visit with former Arkansas State baseball standout Murray Watts. After leaving the Red Wolves, he played in both Minor League and independent ball until giving up the game. But he’s back in the Minors in a unique role–he’s the Chaplain for the Salt Lake Bees of the Pacific Coast League (Triple A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim). He talked some about his playing days, and what led him to Utah five years ago following his playing career.
