Earlier this month, the Nettleton High School varsity cheer team traveled to Orlando, Florida to compete in the 2020 UCA National High School Cheerleading Contest–one of 998 teams from across the U.S. to take part in the event. As one of 36 schools in the Large Varsity Game Day–Non-Tumbling Division, Nettleton placed second in the country! On Tuesday’s edition of “The Drive with Brad Bobo”, head cheer coach Tori Beach, and team captains Kaira Drope and Alana Raja visited The Ticket studio to recap their experience, and what’s ahead for the future of Nettleton cheer.
