Basketball royalty joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Tuesday afternoon! Pat Overman was one of the many talented women who played for the All-American Red Heads, the barnstorming women’s basketball squad who traveled the country playing full-court hoops against men’s teams for 50 years. Last Friday (March 13), the Red Heads got their just due in one of the states they called home, when they were inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame. (They’re already enshrined in the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame, along with the Naismith Memorial Basketball HOF, and the Women’s Basketball HOF.)
