The top two teams in Arkansas Class 5A baseball met up Wednesday when Marion traveled to Jonesboro. The visitors took Game 1 11-8, thanks to two homers and a fine pitching effort from Arkansas State signee Daedrick Cail. (the Golden Hurricane won 12-6 in Game 2). “The Drive with Brad Bobo” welcomed Marion head coach Pete Prater to the First National Bank High School Coaches’ Corner Thursday to hear about his Patriots, and discuss what position he feels Cail will play as a Red Wolf.
