Thursday’s edition of “The Drive with Brad Bobo” took another look at the mental health side of sports, as we had a first-time visit with Rachel Baribeau. The first female sports talk host on SiriusXM satellite radio, and a voter for the Heisman Trophy, started a new role in 2016 when she created “I’m Changing The Narrative”. Her program helps high school and college athletes, along with government agencies and businesses, to help reduce the stigma of mental and emotional health issues, along with dealing with issues related to prejudice, lack of true purpose, poverty, interpersonal relationships, social justice and more. On Saturday, Rachel will meet with the Jonesboro High School football team (along with a separate meeting with the mothers of the players).
