The NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics), of which Williams Baptist University in Walnut Ridge is a member, announced Friday that its member institutions may return to competition on September 5 with practices allowed to start on August 15. There will also be a reduction in the number of contests in numerous sports during the upcoming school year.
