The Drive Interview with Steve Wiedower–Feb 28 2020

Posted by willoswalt on February 28, 2020 in The Drive on KNEA

He was one of the all-time greats in men’s basketball history at Arkansas State, and he’s turned that in to success as a basketball coach in the girls and women’s game. Steve Wiedower is currently in his second stint as an assistant coach for the UALR women’s program, sandwiched around six seasons as head coach of the Russellville Lady Cyclones. He took some time from his pregame duties Friday evening to visit “The Drive with Brad Bobo” at First National Bank Arena to reminisce about his days as an Indian, and what it’s like to coach alongside Trojans head coach Joe Foley.
