A former member of the Arkansas State athletic department now has a new role in northern Louisiana. Tim Padgett, a Jacksonville native, began a new job at Louisiana Tech in January as Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations and Chief Financial Officer for Bulldogs’ sports. His A-State career started as a men’s basketball manager, rising to be a Director of Corporate Sales and Development. After Jonesboro, he worked at the University of California-Berkeley, before moving to Pittsburg State University in Kansas for the last two years prior to heading to Ruston. He joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Tuesday afternoon to discuss his role with Louisiana Tech, and how the COVID-19 pandemic and associated cancellations have affected his new school.
