Another week, another impressive victory for the Hoxie Mustangs on the gridiron! Friday night, in a old conference matchup, Hoxie (11-0) scored a 48-28 win over Newport in the Second Round of the Class 3A State Football Playoffs. Mustangs head coach Tom Sears made a return trip to the First National Bank High School Coaches’ Corner on “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Monday afternoon with a recap of Friday’s win, and this week’s quarterfinal battle with visiting Paris (11-1).
