Despite schools still being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there’s still some coaching hires being made. One of those is in Monette. Buffalo Island Central has named Tyler Timms as the new head coach for the Lady Mustangs’ basketball team, after six seasons at Cossatot River High School in southwest Arkansas. The Riverside alum joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” as a part of the First National Bank High School Coaches’ Corner.
