A former Arkansas State baseball standout who had a fine career in the Kansas City Royals minor league system finally made it to the big show in the pandemic-shortened 2020 MLB campaign. Tyler Zuber made his way onto the Royals’ roster as a reliever, compiling a 1-and-2 record in 23 appearances, with a 4.09 ERA, 30 strikeouts and 20 walks. “The Drive with Brad Bobo” touched base…er, the pitching rubber with the right-hander from White Hall about his rookie season in KC, his first big league action, and the excitement about getting his first baseball card as a major leaguer.
