On the girls side, we visited with Riverside Lady Rebels head coach Tyler Timms; his squad opened the Class 2A tournament in Melbourne, falling to the hosts and state overall Number 1 Lady Bearkatz. Later in the show, it’s a look at a pair of boys teams playing this week. First, it’s Tuckerman’s Josh Longino on the Battle of the Bulldogs against Earle in the Class AA opening round in Melbourne on Thursday, then we preview Ridgefield Christian’s Class A opener against Nevada at West Side Greers Ferry High School on Tuesday with Warriors’ head coach Blake Thompson.
