It’s a state tournament trip for the Valley View High School softball team, after capturing the 4A-East regional title by beating conference rival Brookland in the final at Southside High School. Lady Blazers’ head coach B.J. Zipfel joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Monday to recap the regional, and look at the state tournament (also hosted by Southside) which begins Thursday. Valley View (26-1, and winners of 10 straight) has a bye into the quarterfinal round; they’ll play Friday morning at 10:00.
