Two track & field national championships* could be in the cards for Arkansas State on Friday in Eugene, Oregon. Wednesday evening, Bennett Pascoe won his semifinal heat in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:31.79. In the process, he broke his own school record–set earlier this year– by 5.66 seconds, set a new Sun Belt Conference record, and earned a spot in the U.S. Olympic Trials (also in Eugene) later this month. Bennett made another visit to “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Thursday to recap the semifinal.
