The Lady Bobcats of Walnut Ridge are off to a hot start to their 2019-2020 season, winning 12 of their first 14 contests, losing only to Marmaduke and arch-rival Hoxie. Head coach Chase Halbrook visited the First National Bank High School Coaches’ Corner on “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Tuesday evening to recap his club’s season so far, and discussed the state’s leading scorer in girls’ high school basketball in Arkansas, junior forward Bailey Augustine.
