High school basketball regional tournament play begins this week in Classes A through 4A, and in Class 2A, the North region tournament is hosted by Rector High School. The Cougars will not only host the event, but the boys’ team is the top seed from their district after avenging their only two losses since the first of the year, beating Marmaduke in the semis, and Bay in triple overtime in the final. Rector head coach Matt Mills visited “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Monday to recap the district win, and preview regional play.
