The members of the 5A-East Conference are joining forces to help out an area high school basketball official. Jonesboro Public Schools Athletic Director Trey Harding joined “The Drive with Brad Bobo” Monday afternoon to discuss the “5A-East Together” benefit for official Brian Clark, who’s battling Stage 4 colon cancer. Beginning Friday, January 17, the eight schools will have different ways of raising funds to assist Brian and his family in their fight. In addition, a benefit account has been set up at FOCUS Bank for those who’d like to contribute.
