Workday Redzone High School Football Takeover

Coaches and players from across Northeast Arkansas convened on the Central Baptist Church campus for High School Football Media Day on Thursday, July 19. Coaches joining the Workday Redzone were Valley View defensive coordinator Josh Allison, Brookland head coach Chuck Speer, Trumann head coach Craig Green, Westside head coach Bobby Engle, Jonesboro head coach Randy Coleman, and Nettleton head coach Steven Hampton.

Valley View
Defensive coordinator Josh Allison recaps the 2017 season, talks about the need to close out better in 2018, and weighs in on several new faces on the Blazer offense.

Brookland
Head coach Chuck Speer and senior Landon Perdue talk about the experienced Bearcat squad that returns 17 starters, key departures on offense, and rising expectations and support around the community.

Trumann
First year head coach Craig Green talks about the growing success of the Wildcat program, his football mentors in Scott Waymire and the late Dave Williams, and the new facilities on the Trumann campus.

Westside
Head coach Bobby Engle recaps the 2017 season and home playoff game for the Warriors, talks increased win totals and increased expectations, and shares his thoughts on the always tough 4A-3.

Nettleton
Head coach Steven Hampton, as well as seniors Marcus Isom, Marshon Lane, and Josh Milnes, talk turning the page after an 11-win season, replacing last year’s Raider star power, and keeping the team competitive year ’round.

Jonesboro
Head coach Randy Coleman, along with seniors Logan Orr and Tate Lutes, recap an injury-plagued 2017 season for the Hurricane, and also talk defensive changes and more.
